Perfect place to stay

The most perfect place to stay. A beautiful, spotlessly clean bedroom with lovely shower room. Such attention to detail that made our stay delightful - a really good fan in the room; a fridge in the wardrobe with milk, water and cans of San Pellegrino Aranciata; a lovely welcome card!

The rest of the house is stunning - lots of beautiful art and antiques, but combined with lots of stylish, modern touches too.

Such a friendly and welcoming place to stay and the breakfasts were superb! A full English breakfast with amazing sausages, bacon and black pudding on the first day and lovely Eggs Benedict with bacon the second day (no mean culinary feat to cook this dish to perfection!). So easy to walk into the centre of town. Just perfect really and we had such a great time. Will definitely be back.

Art at Breakfast

Breakfast at Bay Tree is about more than the delicious Yorkshire farm produce. It’s also about ambiance.

We carefully source and curate art and sculpture to make a unique breakfast setting. Some images below illustrate our approach and current exhibits.

Our Oriental King

Our room 10 on the second floor, formerly known as ‘Nidderdale King’, has undergone a major upgrade and design transformation - so much so, that we think we can justify a rename: it’s now to be known as the Oriental King.

The room has multiple nods to Eastern art, fabrics, furniture and lighting. A beautiful mahogany wardrobe will be installed shortly. View the room gallery below.

Pure Bliss with a Touch of Luxury

Wonderful stay. My room (Jade, room 2) was splendid.   Beautifully and tastefully furnished and decorated with attention to the finest details. High quality fixtures and fittings was the theme throughout the establishment. I’ve booked to come again.

Patrick and Nick are fantastic hosts and really deliver a high quality experience. The location is easy walking distance to the centre of Harrogate and in a lovely part of town. There are superb restaurants near by so you are spoilt for choice. You get what you pay for and this is worth it.

I would challenge anyone to find a more comfortable, welcoming and totally enjoyable place to stay in Harrogate.

We were treated like celebrities by Nick and Patrick from minute one. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was spacious, spotless and with a beautiful decor. Breakfast was just how we like it - delicious and ample.

We will definitely return.”

”Perfection…

We had the most wonderful stay at Baytree house. The room was clean, comfortable and styled extremely tastefully.
The hosts are fabulous. Welcoming, entertaining and also paid great attention to detail in their observations and conversations.

I felt completely relaxed during the stay, which is not something that I always am. This was down to how free flowing Baytree house was to stay. Good vibes!

Definitely recommend 💯fabulous break…”
